In this three-year advanced education program, residents learn all facets of periodontics and dental implant therapy, including biomedical sciences, patient evaluation, diagnosis of periodontal and other oral diseases, interdisciplinary treatment planning, non-surgical and surgical periodontal treatment, and dental implant therapy.

The Advanced Education Program in Periodontics comprises didactic, clinical, and research experiences leading to a certificate in periodontics.

Clinical Experience

Our clinic consists of 14 operatories and a resident work room with multiple computers. Management of complex patient needs is emphasized in the program, and facilities are present to support this training.
